Hi! My name is Stacey, I am a Wellington based textile designer fresh from finishing my Honours degree at Massey University.

I have a love for train stations and urban spaces and consider myself in a constant battle to create order out of chaos with an inventory of straight lines and sharp angles.

I remembered when I first saw this I didn’t like it. In fact I think I hated it. I recall the day I think. I was in Auckland and it was an article about Fashion designers “designing” their own prints by taking art off the wall and putting it on fabric. As a textile designer I have mixed feelings about this.
